The heron’s legs remind me of my own.
Yes, I may be obsessed with this bird, but I take great joy stalking him as he patiently waits for some unsuspecting fish to swim by.

And this is how it starts … an obsession with one bird – skulking and stalking – before you know it, a “birder” is born.
This is a good sequence – but my favorite heron shot is the one you took last spring. If Monet had painted birds – it would have looked like that shot, I think.

i think you like to stalk it b.c you were getting to many weird looks from people that you were doing the same thing too……
