Ciao from Italy,
Here are a couple of pictures from CInqueterre and the Aeolian Is. One shows the view from our Manarola hotel window of the farmed wall across the street.
Another is of Beth on the Via del Amore between Riomaggiore and Manarola.
Another is of a pretty flower by the trail from Vernazza to Corneglia.
Then there’s one of me quaffing a fine white Sicilian wine on a beach in Lipari in the Aeolian Islands.
Tomorrow we wing our way home from bella Sicily!
Arrividerci,
Ed & Beth

Looks wonderful! I trust the rest of your trip went without the initial technical difficulties? Safe journey home.

Actually, there were several other, um, technical difficulties, some of them minor, others major, which I will gloss over and ignore in my coming picture stories. But the good times greatly exceeded the bad, and even the “bad” times had gleaming silver linings.

I’m thinking only you could have prospected your way to those silver linings.

One of the silver linings was that in a “forced” layover in Florence, we got to see Galileo’s telescopes and his drawings of sunspots and the phases of Venus.
