Clogging the Roads

Goose and I, on our way to another ice dam, are stopped at the light at Central St. and 111. The light turns green and I move my foot to the accelerator pedal but before I get there I hear, “It’s green!” There’s an edge to his declarative sentence as if I’ve fallen asleep, or I’ve not been paying attention. The thing is I responded just as soon as I saw the light change.

  1. I thought Goose was going to school in Vermont, not Boston.

  3. The day will come, Mike, when you hit that pedal as the green changes to red. Then you know it’s time to hit the barcalounger and retire.

  4. Hey Goose, how do you fix ice dams? Our roof gutters are full of leaves, and they are now pretty much iced up. If it rained (which is pretty unlikely here before April) we’d have icicles that reached the ground!
