The original plan was to smuggle out a penguin, but that’s actually even more difficult than it sounds.

Hil K speaks from experience? Uh-oh. BTW, clearing an arrest record — even when wrongfully arrested with hundreds of other people and the ACLU takes the case — takes a really long time (5 ish years), and I’m not sure the ACLU would take on a penguin-smuggling case.

Since 4th grade I’ve wanted a penguin as a pet, as glorified by the book “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”. A truly great piece of literature.
A downside? The dead fish smell would be a little overwhelming. That issue wasn’t addressed in the book as I remember it.
