The original plan was to smuggle out a penguin, but that’s actually even more difficult than it sounds.

Since 4th grade I’ve wanted a penguin as a pet, as glorified by the book “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”. A truly great piece of literature.
A downside? The dead fish smell would be a little overwhelming. That issue wasn’t addressed in the book as I remember it.
You penguin would eat your fish Simon. It’s the same reason we don’t have a cat.
