Dan: “No, we took Remo to the vet, and he put her down and disposed of the ashes.â€

Dan: “It’s so quiet around here… .â€
Me: “With one dog.â€
Dan: “Linda likes it so much she’s made an appointment for me.”

Dan & Linda, I know how hard that can be and my heart goes out to you. A saving grace that you have Paxie into whom to pour all the love and loss you must feel. Whatever fear Remo lived with is now dispelled. R.I.P., gentle dog.
But skip the appointment — we’d like you around awhile more …

On a different note–thanks for your empathy, pet lovers. We do get attached. And deciding to end a gentle life ain’t easy.
