What a great shot! What are some of the particulars of the camera? Was it a digital? My little digitals have a 1/2 to 1 sec delay, so it’d be hard to catch a wipeout like that (unless Goose wipes out over, and over, and over again 😉

Thanks for a great photo. I wish you’d posted it rotated 90 degrees, though. Several of us would probably be wondering what kind of waterfall that is.

I’m guessing the camera has a multiple-shots setting? And remember, Michael chose the Wipe Out title. I’d bet big money that Goose accomplished exactly what he intended. Like Michael in the previous wall … if he’d put his shadow in, we never would have found him, and we wouldn’t have been impressed. (OK, so now I’m really reaching.)

BirdBrain uses a Nikon D70 which will shoot three frames a second. Her title, btw, was Defying Gravity. In my opinion, I’m defying gravity on the window wall while Goose is reviewing his life.

Speaking of the window wall, Adam added a shadow.

Michael is right about the camera – a Nikon D70 (which I love particularly for its ability to use my long, optical lenses and it’s fast shutter speeds….great for taking sports shots).

Goose will surely tell you otherwise – but this action was absolutely not intentional. He was wiping out often — but just as often, he was making good long runs standing up. I just think the “wipe out” photos are more fun.
