Mike,

I’m getting a little back-logged here with pictures and stories. Could you send Adam over to help me put these pictures on your blog? I’ll pay him with a dozen varieties of fresh, yummy mushrooms per story.

Due to popular demand here’s more about food.

If it means I can continue to sit back with my smelly feet propped up on my desk, I’ll send everyone I know.

By my calculation it’s 2:45 am in Acton, MA right now (here it’s 4:45 pm), and I just sent that meal story in sometime in the last hour. It looks like our fearless blogmaster dozes by his Mac and grabs every piece of raw meat I send him. Or maybe he has a program that sets off an alarm when I email in? Or is the blogmaster really just a cyber script in his Mac–like the ones Google uses to harvest news stories?

Looks like you are in mushroom country. I’ve never seen anything like that in Japan. “Unidentifiable vegetables” may possibly be “yama yasai” not exactly correct but getting at “mountain vegetable” meaning wild. Often roots, ferns… more associated with spring now that I think of it.
What an inspiration to forage and come up with such a visually stunning presentation from your micro-kitchen. Gilsum couldn’t have figured into this expertise? It obviously didn’t rub off on me, though Eileen was critical to me maintaining my disability around the yotel. (Or did I forget the name?)

So how much snow?

Btw: check the eruption on the big island, 30 acres cracked off and left a river of lava arcing into the ocean…

Back to you: no tremors?

The fearful blogmaster fears falling behind.

Awww, do I sense a quivering in those lofted piggies … ? Rakk’s a volcano of information, all needing processing. But putting forth’s different than calling forth.

With all those shredded veggies and tasty ‘shrooms, I imagine a veggie like me would fare well. But also because of that predilection, all those un-i.d.’d objects would give me more pause than they do you, Rakk. Bravo the adventurous palate!

Rakkity, any discussion of it being Pearl Harbor day over there? Just curious.
