We have a plan, a view, we have a destination, a mountain top, but we never quite get there. A rocky outcrop, an opening through the trees, a glimpse of the lakes below,  a settling for less than what we desired. <\/p>\n<p>In the shortest form possible, her primary care physician said, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcMove.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Her gastroenterologist said she might  have autoimmune liver disease or   Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, but we won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know until we do more tests. <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Dr. Bieker. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcDo you have a living will?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Helen. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcNo.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Me. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI am her health care proxy.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m pretty proud of this now that Chris tells me it means I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m her favorite. <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u02dcDr. Bieker to Helen. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcDoes he know what you want?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Me. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI do. At the first excuse, she wants to see what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s next.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Bieker. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcMany people are afraid to die.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Me.  \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcNot this one. she is not afraid enough and that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a problem.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Bieker. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcAnd some people reach a point where they have had enough.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n<p>Helen smiled.
