I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m working on his bathroom and his fire alarm is beeping. He tells me It has been for ten days, and he doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know why.  Can you believe that?  Anyway, I want to change the battery, but the alarm is hard wired. If I disconnect it, will it alert the fire station?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153No. I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know why it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hard wired but we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve changed our battery without fire trucks showing up at the door.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s good, I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think it was, but I wanted to be sure.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153What are you going to do when I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m gone?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Gone? You\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re not going anywhere.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Oh, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not huh? Well, that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not the way things work. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m getting to the end of this trip. Let me tell you something else. I talked to an old friend of mine in California. He had one of those mini-strokes. He\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s three years younger than me. He says he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s tired all the time. I told him that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the way it is with these things. It takes time to get better, but he can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t see it. I sat down and wrote him a four page letter. I gave him my thoughts&#8230; \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I hope you made a copy of that letter for me. I know how hard it is for you to write these days. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d love to have a copy.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Aaa, well, I put it in the mail yesterday.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153What did it say.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I told him about the good lord\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s plan for us and what happens afterward. Where  we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re going. As I said it was four pages long.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Sounds like you think it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s more that just the stroke that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s bothering him.  He must be afraid of dying, no?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Death happens to all of us. You know what my father used to say?
