Mostly, she refers to them as, well, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153them\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, or \u00e2\u20ac\u0153they\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, or \u00e2\u20ac\u0153some,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as in , \u00e2\u20ac\u0153some get picked up on weekends.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d While we were waiting for the barbershop chorus to begin, she pointed out one woman in spiffy red shorts and matching spandex shirt. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153She wears those same clothes everyday.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d  After the woman sat down,  Flo asked me,<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Did you know it was Grandparent\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Day?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; I&#8217;ve never heard of Grandparent\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Day, but I see the Happy Grandparent\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Day card on the piano.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Betsy and I were talking about it at lunch. I said it was Grandparent\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Day and the man at the next table thought I was talking about birthdays. He asked, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcWhen is my birthday?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 \u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>That reads a little like he is asking Flo when her birthday is, but no, he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s asking when his is.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I said, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know.  January, February, March, April, May&#8230;?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 \u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153He said, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcI think January.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153You\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re laughing, Flo.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I know.
