She also cooked asparagus, while Peter, Emma and Kate, brought rolls, desert, \u00c2\u00a0soups, cheese and other hors d&#8217;oeuvres. \u00c2\u00a0Goose. who&#8217;d already eaten \u00c2\u00a0dinner at home at 2 PM, \u00c2\u00a0joined us, and Jerry and Daryl Sullo arrived bearing gifts and Sullo&#8217;s Wine, vintage &#8217;07. \u00c2\u00a0Jen&#8217;s daughter&#8217;s, \u00c2\u00a0Hilary and Hannah, just home from Spain and Switzerland, filled out the table. After the engorgement, Cortney, Kathy, Sarah and maybe others appeared with their own holiday offerings of cookies and fudge. \u00c2\u00a0Peter and Emma left early, Kate spent the night, and I sawed my first log at about 10 PM with the party shaking the walls.
