{"id":2938,"date":"2008-04-17T12:39:10","date_gmt":"2008-04-17T16:39:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mainecourse.com\/mt\/?p=2938"},"modified":"2008-04-17T12:39:10","modified_gmt":"2008-04-17T16:39:10","slug":"travesties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mainecourse.com\/mt\/2008\/04\/17\/travesties\/","title":{"rendered":"Travesties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I agree with some of what <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/lifestyle\/food\/articles\/2008\/04\/16\/colliding_memories_and_memorable_cleverness\/\" title=\"Play Review\">Louise<\/a> says about Mark and Ginger\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s daughter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mollyschreiber.com\/\" title=\"Molly Schreiber\" target=\"_blank\">Molly&#8217;s<\/a> latest play \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Travesties,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d but if I were writing the review I would have donated more page space to the acting, which to our minds (I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m speaking for Diane too), was extraordinarily good. The best we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve seen in any of her plays.   Combine that level of performance with a script that teases history and demands more focus that my brain has available cells and you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got one terrific afternoon . And, again, we had close-up seats in a small theatre.
