A few things: <\/p>\n

About image quality. I think my scanner is reaching the end of its life. I get scan lines that never appeared before, and they take a certain amount of filtering to reduce, but that also makes the images less distinct. Plus, we’re scanning old (ancient?) photos that weren’t necessarily all that great at the time. And, many were developed on matte (read: pebbly) paper that presents its own scan issues. <\/p>\n

If you have a smallish monitor and have your resolution set at 800 x 600, then the small images are huge and the larger images are pointless to click on. Also, the format of the page changes so that all the recent entry links sit at the bottom of the page. If your resolution is set high, as mine is, or Dan\u00c3\u00ads ( running an impossibly small 1900 x 1200), then the present format works fine.
\nObviously I can\u00c3\u00adt accommodate everyone, but viewing the blog at the Schriebers has prompted me to once again reduce the size of the small, main page images. If this change is not good, let me know. I\u00c3\u00adm a crowd pleaser, and will follow majority opinion.<\/p>\n

For what it\u00c3\u00ads worth, I buy inksell inks from inksell.com. They are a third the cost of Epson inks and almost never clog. For color photos they take longer to dry, but so what.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
