While Matt was moving into Temple, Patrick was getting married to his lovely and effervescent fiancee Georgia Williams. We took lots of pictures of the exciting event, but haven’t gotten our pictures out yet. Fortunately our

Now that Georgia has given her wedding present to Patrick I can tell a story. Two weeks ago, our dear Georgia called me for advice. It has been so long since anyone has actually asked me for advice, I nearly fell off my chair and dropped the telephone, but I managed to hang on to the line. She was buying an electronic camera for Patrick to take on their honeymoon (London), and she had picked up a camera from Macy’s in NYC when visiting her mother. She described the camera, and I pointed out a few disadvantages. She said, “I’ll return it immediately, but where can I get a good one.” After nearly falling off the chair again, because my advice was actually being listened to, I suggested Best Buy, Ritz Camera, and Staples. She perked up at hearing Staples, because there is one within walking distance of her apartment (she doesn’t have a car). Fortunately Katie was going out in the direction of her place in Silver Spring that day, and she took Georgia to Best Buy.<\/p>\n

Katie was sworn to secrecy about the camera gift. The funny thing about this is that Katie had already been sworn to secrecy by Patrick, because he had bought an electronic camera for Georgia. So by now, both of them should be taking pictures in Jolly Old London, and the newlyweds should be able to post a few pictures for us to see when they return home next week.<\/p>\n
