I look at this and think what a peaceful beginning.  Diane looks at this, sees a long, lonely drive home,  and says, &#8220;I&#8217;m glad I wasn&#8217;t with you.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"https:\/\/mainecourse.com\/mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/early_grohe.jpg\" title=\"early_grohe.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image1283\" src=\"https:\/\/mainecourse.com\/mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/early_grohe.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"early_grohe.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of &#8220;early Grohe,&#8221; Adam. Same town,  a block from &#8220;Ohio and Erie Canal.&#8221;  The photos on his website of a freshly finished wall are much more impressive. Still, as I was talking to Dan who&#8217;d guided me in, &#8220;We could have painted this one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"https:\/\/mainecourse.com\/mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/columbus_vertically.JPG\" title=\"columbus_vertically.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image1284\" src=\"https:\/\/mainecourse.com\/mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/columbus_vertically.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"columbus_vertically.JPG\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Especially compared to the Columbus mural &#8211; amost vertical and it still looks three dimensional.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the way home, early morning, southern Indiana.
