So this is what gets you through the 1,100 miles to the old homestead … ? Can’t say I have an actual memory of such shows, though I’ve seen/heard them enough in the context of “back when” to sort of feel like I do. Pure kitsch, but true to its need to create emotion without visuals, thus amplifying the auditory cues.
