Perhaps the spammers didn’t appreciate the thorough sweeping out Mike and I did earlier in the week — all the way back to the first entries, many hundreds of expelled interlopers. Not like we said goodbye or anything that would draw their ire, though, just firm deportation …
Cool backdrop, though for an oddly awkward Mateo. Looking forward to the whole Spanish experience.

The Closers wasn’t Baldacci’s best novel. (IMHO, The Winner was.) I kept hoping he’d pull a rabbit out of his hat and save the husband. The wife didn’t seem to be too overcome with sorrow at the end, which wasn’t consistent with the her obvious feelings at the beginning. Rating the character development of The Closers, I’d place the quality as less than any of Connelly’s but better than any of Ludlum’s.
