  1. That’s it? One enlargeable photo and a link to a site that doesn’t even play their own music? So what’d’ya see? Who’d’ya see? What’d’ya buy? Lotta people, or just youse seven? Wine, cheese, stayed for hours, or Triscuits and cider, left after 20 minutes? Who’s the lead singer, was the music good, did they do requests, and did you request anything? And how’s business for Mr. Scott? Make an effort, Mikey, geez………….

  2. Okay, I acknowledge this whole site is an effort, and a huge one, and a very much (if mostly silently) appreciated, even beloved one. I was going back through the blog ages yesterday, looking for previous references to Georgia (but in the meandering, yet sorta comprehensive, and search-engine-less way), and I was struck at the sheer breadth and scope, to which mere stats do not do justice. Quite an accomplishment, full of life and tales and images……….. Bravo! Bravo! But then there are piddling nothings like this post…………

  3. I considered droning on about the hors d’oeuvres, cheese and crackers with a decent red wine; the art, ecletic in form and presentation; the music, harmonious vocals with original songs, and the crowd, a larger turnout that previous openings, but then I thought, does anyone really care?

Chris and I were happy to sit and listen to the music, but Diane fidgeted and then muscled her way through the crowd to get closer looks at the art. Matt, Robby and Caroline spent as much time in the shop downstairs, Carmenís Miranda, as in the gallery. Robby bought a silver ring with the word love in Italian on the outside and in English on the inside. I said, ìOh, that means itís reversible.î Diane, replaying that remark in her head, laughed most of the way home. Iím thinking of having my quixotic wife tested.
