I have been enjoying the pictures of Sarah’s happy day enourmously! And I totally admire the mother of the bride’s shedding of her grown-up lady shoes, if, indeed, she ever had them on — a woman of my own leanings!
catching-up
I commented to Linda the day after that she works hard and finding and buying comfortable shoes to fit special occasions, but invariably they last less than 10 minutes on her feet.
She did not argue the point. After all, I fell in love with her while barefoot, in a torn pear of farmer jean shorts and a dirty t-shirt, weeding the walkway at 148 High St.

I think the pears are what Peter and I fell in love with.
