Rakkity, I’m not quite sure what you were trying to say here, but I have a guess since I have trouble figuring out what this is about. I finally decided that Travis was saying it’s a depressing place. What Michael was saying … ? (I’m not sure.) Maybe that the place is arguably > 3 x more depressing than another place?
Travis was saying he was happy that someone in the ‘hood knew the symbol for less than and Michael was saying that writing less than three above the symbol is redundant, which was stoopid because now that I look at it again it is clear that the person who sprayed the symbol on the wall isn’t the same one who spelled it out.
I was up at 4:45 this morning but the sky was mostly cloudy.
OH!! I never parsed that sideways ice cream cone with a bifurcated scoop of ice cream. (Actually, I thought it was a teacher trying to give students a mnemonic for density, sideways, and forgetting the last step — the dividing line between mass and volume.)
As time goes by (2 hours now), since I saw Michael’s explanation, I can’t believe how I missed, and how much I missed, about this posting. This gives me some idea of how stressful I find something going on now, and how little I observe when I’m stressed. Or something like that. Thanks, Travis (and Michael, especially if the title was yours).
It was all Trav’s doing and it turns out I misinterpreted it for the both of us. Hil K knows what it means. Lay that double scoop down on its side and look at it after you’ve already had dessert and you’ll see a heart.
Some filtering mechanism on this blog seems to be preventing us from writing the symbol for “less than” followed by a “3”. I can’t put any html code into the blog any more either!

We have a less than perfect authorship identity identification designation, but the category does say Travis and it was he who posted I <3 Graffiti.
I would wrestle with whether it was less than or greater than, and then think how redundant.

Thanks for the explanation.
