Up On The Roof

We dragged chairs onto our roof where the sun and the view makes reading the morning paper enjoyable. Here’s Joe in a casual pose.

Matt and Jen join Joe.

Goose does the unthinkable and stands on the chimney. Got to love his pose.

  3. Insane! You’re lucky your neighbors don’t call out the padded wagon and the men with nets and Houdini jackets.

  4. Think of you doing it first? Who actually did it first??

And the neighbors? There was one passerby who drove by once, drove by twice, and then went home to get his wife.

  5. I think that’s more a comment on how little there is going on in Acton. And the first guy on the chimney was me, but only because you were there to play catch.

  6. Now if that happened in the PRB (Peoples Republic of Boulder), the neighbors would all come with their ladders to join the party!

  7. now would people really grab their ladders, there is a perfectly good climbing route up mike’s house, no need for the ladder, let the climbing spirit prevail.

  8. It was so fun watching Goose climb from the grass up the chimney to the roof of the living room that I made him do it again! My climbing spirit enabled me to climbed the stairs and out the bathroom window to said roof.

  9. The route up our house looks to be about a 5.10, and I’m a bit leery at doing that without pro. Our neighbors aren’t free-solo builderers. (You’d have to go towards the center of town to find many of them.) So ladders are the likely tool around here.
