Google’s Odd Objects

134186-07_indianface.jpg

Michael,

In case you have some time to be spared between shots of colorful vegetables, take a look at some of these strange photos of odd earthly objects seen from space.

For your next backyard project, maybe you and Matt can construct something unusual that can be seen from space, and that will find its way into the Google Earthly Odd Object database.  Like the largest green lime in the world–with a purple background?

  1. These were just great. And I’m pleased to notice that I haven’t sunk (quite yet) to addictively searching google Earth myself for unusual images. Because my mental capacity does seem to be slipping away: As I looked at these, I kept thinking I ought to share them with mainecourse. It wasn’t until I finished that I rediscovered how I’d gotten to them myself.

  2. I haven’t even installed Google Earth. But I enjoy looking at what others have found in their addictive searches.
