Our Tree
I reckon there’s a Minnesotan who clicked on this link and promptly passed out. You see, Matt and I usually wait until the last minute when the only trees remaining have bare spots like clear cuts and pine needles like sewing needles. And, typically, we haven’t gotten off our lazy behinds until prompted by the chief decorator, FierceBaby.
Don’t know is my answer. Diane asked me to do our banking and while I was out I just figured it’d be good to get one more chore done.
We got ours today too. Fresh off the airplane from an exhausting exam week and we head straight to the farm stand.
When does FierceBaby arrive so that she can gape at your planning ahead in person?

For the first time in rakkity home history we have a (gasp) faux Christmas tree. It’s only because (again for the first time in rakkity history since ought’78), we’ll be spending Christmas in Boston!

Which is to our benefit.

Rakkity, I think we can offer you an antidote to your first artificial tree, although I won’t be sure until Christmas Eve which is when we plan to cut ours. That is, a tree with live flames (albeit small ones, at the top of candles, in candle holders). Which is why we won’t cut ours until C. Eve.

Got ours this weekend and decorated it today. Took all day for some reason. Once all those boxes get pulled out I want them all put away. Yours looks very pretty.
