Race Car Driver
Diane and I stopped at Concord Teacakes for coffee this morning and I caught this guy on a shelf in the window, and standing right next to him were these glasses.
They could be two of my most useless photos, but I’m posting them because that’s all I’ve got.

We stopped in on Flo tonight to deliver her pills, milk and to say hello. She complained that she had trouble kneeling for any length of time. She’s thirty-four years older than I am and I bet she can kneel painlessly longer than I.

Matt and friends are at Ed’s place in NH tonight using the brand new eight person tent I bought at Costco for only a hundred bucks. If they stay over Saturday I may join them as it’s a perfect time of year given the dry weather means no skeets.
No comment on the tchotchkes, but the usefulness of the posting of same is not directly related. Godbless.
And care to expand on “friends” … ? Joe & Robby? Other/more … ? And why a new tent when they were only ever so recently introduced to our own nylon palace … ?

As of about 5 PM only Robby and Kyle, but promises of many more. If they stay through tonight I might join them. They are becoming responsible adults, as in taking better care of things, but the nylon palace is our shared tent and if we alone use it we may never need to buy another.
I had two choices at Costco. A 10 x 20 foot ten person tent for $150.00 or the one I bought that can be divided into two rooms and sleeps eight. I figured they’d never find twenty feet of rock and root free ground up above rak’s cabin so I opted for the smaller Vista Villa.

Worthless Pictures? Hardly. Those translucent pastel glasses, like perfect mountain wildflowers, have a resonance with me.
