You did a mighty fine job of synching — there are enough flairs of action coincidental with musical beats and crescendos to hint at onsite direction. Plus, it’s just good. A bit weak in the ending, perhaps, but the beginning and middle rock. Tunes well selected and well-applied. Great job!

There doesn’t seem to be any way I can see and hear this video. My Microsloth laptop requires (says Youtube) a later version of Javascript. But Computer Security deprecates downloading new applications. My Linux desktop computer can show videos, but the dual processor screws up the audio applications, so the sound just doesn’t come through. And at home, on my wonderful Minimac, there is no way of squeezing all those sound and video bytes down the telephone line.
I thought of downloading the video to a flash drive and playing it at home, but downloading doesn’t seem to be an option.
Hilster's Mom
Thanks to Matt’s dad for the amazing documentation!
Looks like everyone had a blast. Brings a tear to my eye to think you are all going in different directions in less than a month. I know that friendship is not determined by physical proximity, but by the heart. You will all be buds for life. Good luck to all of you and we’ll see you at the holidays.

People are making sport of me for feeling the same way you do, Jen. Or is it because I want them to all get married and settle down?
Anyway, here’s where you can download the far superior Quicktime version, rakkity, to take home on your flash drive. Got speakers? (It_Hurts.mov )
I also burnt it to a DVD, where the full screen TV version of the double-flip ending is much more impressive.

Thanks, Mike. I looked at the QuickTime version briefly here at work, and the video is far better than YouTube, but the audio is poor on this system. But I have good speakers at home, which I use mainly for watching DVD movies on my mini.
Spoon’s Pond looks so inviting!
Hilster's Mom
Mike,
Thanks for dropping off the video of “Those Young Boy Ways.” I just watched it for the 3rd time. It makes me nostalgic for my old posse. I think I’ll reach out and dig up some old friends. Thanks for the inspiration!

Know how I know that that Jen (you know, the other Hil’s mom) is a LOT younger than me? I would NEVER say I was going to “dig up some old friends,” in case anyone took me literally.

Very funny comment, Jennifer.
Jen, I think you’ve a prayer of finding friends to replace your posse because the age gap (as Jennifer alluded to) is not so great. What I enjoyed so much was the constant state of on and the world as wow that Matt and Co. provided.
My favorite part of the camping trip was hearing that buzz all night long.
