Is this what Stromboli (our hiking destination next week) looks like when it does its thing?

I thought maybe you’d gotten it from APOD, and checked what had been up lately (after looking up Stromboli; I’m very ill-educated). I thought I’d hit the jackpot when I saw the title “A Persistent Electrical Storm on Saturn” on APOD … but that turns out to be quite serene.
Have fun! (Don’t look down. Oops, that’s for Manarola. For Stromboli, don’t look up? I dunno, seems rather scary to me.)
I’m thinking electrical storm around an ash cloud of an active volcano. I’m also thinking — wicked cool as that picture may be — that I’m observing remotely and not recording locally … !
