Yes, the feet are amazing. With delicate long toes big enough to wrap around a fat branch.

Sunshine on the wing…good photo. Those feet are very interesting. Did you know that songbird feet have “locks” – so that the bird will not fall off the perch when sleeping? The only way the feet unlock is if the bird stretches upwards.
I love the detail of his feet. Great recurring.
