Progress?
A whole lot of scraping and priming going on.
Will this deck be finished for the party on Saturday?
Susan arrives and we do our usual La Cantina run, this time with La Rad and family.

Does this mean they’re done with the driveway/porch side … ?
And what’s with the stair-step-notched deck plywood? As to Saturday, somehow I predict walking on 4×8’s of A/C fir, not freshly stained stick fir.

That means the driveway side and front have been primed. They’re doing a better job of scraping that I ever have…I know that isn’t saying much, still…
And the notched plywood was used to form up the sides of the bulkhead.

Count me in on the tally of folks who wondered why you’d bother to do all that notching on an underlayment for a deck, which I didn’t think even would benefit from underlayment!
