Roofs and Gators
Mike,
Katie just sent us some pictures of her latest construction work in Thibodeaux. But it’s not all work down there in steamy Louisiana. She also went with her buddies on a swamp tour.

I want to know who labled that first photo, where the nail guns are, and after seeing photo eight with the gators, who in their right mind is going to use the slide in photo nine?

My thoughts exactly — somehow that slide even looks abandoned, as it seems from ringside like it should be. Imagine the willful suspension of disbelief it would take to send your tasty, defenseless two-year-old down that …
But great efforts, K-Rakk! You and your girlfriends seem to be digging your work, too. Bravo!

1. All the labels are KT’s.
2. Who with any responsibility would give nail guns to such unassuming 20-something kids with all their fingers intact?
3. El Kib, my thoughts about the slide were the same as yours. Do Louisianans think differently than us about gators? (But then I recall a picture of Mrs Rakk standing by her bike in the Everglades, eyeing a gator 5 feet away.) Safety standards may vary.
