Halibut Point

Diane and I spent our off day shopping for chairs suitable for problematic backs (highly recommended by Adam and Tricia) and visiting one of our favorite old haunts, Halibut Point.

  1. I heard on the news that the waves were 20 – 22 feet high off the Coast of Gloucester, Mass….”and people are urged to stay away from the coast…”

    So why am I NOT surprised that the 2 of you were there!

  2. Furthermore, we were at the same spot where my brother-in -law Pete at 17 was swept from the rocks and almost drowned in 1970, so I had the willies, but Mike?????
    (Must admit the scene, though creepy, was most beautiful.)

    And as to old times, we walked into the KleinDesign workshop in Gloucester to pursue the dream of a chair to sleep in when orthopedically impaired, and recognized these guys as the designers not only of Adam and Tricia’s chairs, but of our two living room chairs from on old.
