Patrick Returns To The Court
Michael,
After our last racquetball game on Thursday last, Katie revealed that she had asked Patrick to join us for a game of cut-throat sometime in the coming week . So tomorrow, Patrick, Katie, and their more-or-less healed dad will be hitting (gently, gently) the court.
Meanwhile, Dom has had the cast removed from his right hand, and he sends this:
Hi Ed,
Are you interested in a few games before you hit the road?
Dominic
Well, I’m trying to think of how to answer. I’ll wait until I survive tomorrow’s family game.

You’ll have to find new rivals in your new homeland, unless your kids and/or the Dom can be persuaded to relocate as well … Good luck getting back into the “swing” of things! Do report on the matches!

Things are changing moment to moment. Patrick’s 5-person engineering company has just been bought out by a bigger company, and yesterday the main suits revised the times of their meeting today. So it’s not clear whether Patrick will be able to escape the grind of meetings this afternoon to do the more important thing–play racquetball.
But, yes, I’ll have to find new venues and rivals in our new homeland!

Dear Dom,
No,
Ed

Unfortunately, I wrote, Dear Dom, Yes, Ed.
Now I’ll see if there are any repercussions from “someone’s wife”.
