Remo
Phone conversation:
Me: “Just your dog, Paxie, left now?â€
Dan: “I’m afraid so.â€
Me: “Did you do it at home
Dan: “No, we took Remo to the vet, and he put her down and disposed of the ashes.â€
Me: “I’m sorry; Remo had been around a long time.â€
Dan: “It’s so quiet around here… .â€
Me: “With one dog.â€
Dan: “Linda likes it so much she’s made an appointment for me.”

Jen’s idea, this potluck at our house, was a good one even though Mark failed to bring enough ribs. Good thing there were plenty of salads and vegetarian dishes from which to choose.
The two group photos below are nearly identical except I like the top pic where many of us are whistling for Karen and John’s dog, Jill, whereas Diane likes the casual look of the second. We had plans for a more festive, party-like image, but put us in a group and we revert to our polite selves.

On the way to their apartment we walk by walls filled with Bill’s photos and Rose’s paintings. Of course we run into friends along with way. Bill’s art first.
La Rad’s enthusiasm has inspired me to post these extras clips.

Before the Einstein story, Rose and Bill take us on a tour of their apartment. First stop, the bathroom.
