Where The Hell Is Matt?

He’s here.

This reminds me, Debbie, have you snapped your handstand photo?

  1. This is lovely. I spent the first half assuming it was faked, and ultimately decided that at least a third of it wasn’t. What do you-all more experienced folks think?

  2. Now THERE’S a world traveler, by gum (and only those who watch to the end will get the pun … ). Just a schtick, or is that how he feels about being [there], I wonder? I particularly like the Botswana accompaniment and the appropriately delicate mincing on the wedged boulder (though Antarctica made for a pretty impressive backdrop).

  3. Seeing Matt dancing around the world, and reading about “Actonians in hybrids” compelled me to comment on our collective need to protect our planet. Sharon and I just saw “An Inconvenient Truth,” Al Gore’s movie about global warning, at the Lexington Flick. If you haven’t seen it, go see it. It will shake you up badly. It made us visit http://www.climatecrisis.net right away and want to do something right now. Everyone should see this movie and tell everyone else to see this movie. Really.

  4. haha Dad, you’re a total geek. Matt and I cant see this movie because the internet cafe doesnt have java flash or something lol. but anyway, i havent gotten my handstand picture yet, hoping to do that today actually thanks fore the reminder. planned on doing it yesterday, but we thought doing it in a skirt would be a bad idea in the middle of venice…anyways all is well here, mom and dad i hope you dont forget about to pick us up in the airpost on tues haha

  5. We can only hope the movie gets the widest circulation. I understand the Senate closed for a day to show the movie and not a single Republican attended.

Debbie, Matt left a message on our home answering machine and the last word was unintellible. Sounded like, “Gizeroo.” Is it something we should be concerned about?

  6. We watched this video twice. It’s authentic and I suggest you take a gander at Matt’s website. It makes me laugh because it’s so light hearted and because I can see my own Matt dancing pretty much exactly the same way.

  7. Hey Deb and Matt!
I got yelled at by Diane yesterday at the Sullo’s party, which was a blast, for not posting replies of my woes of a life without you two. so here it is: i miss you tons and tons! Debba I’m not leaving your side for the rest of the summer once you get back. So, return safely and soon!!

  8. Way to go Diane. But did you only yell at Hil K?

  9. Area 51 is in NM (near Roswell), not AZ, so for that reason (and others) I think its faked.

  10. My mistake! Area 51 is in NV after all (Wikipedia).
But water in the Salar de Uyuni? That’s drier than Death Valley. That made me doubtful about the movie’s legitimacy, too, but Wikipedia says there are two shallow lakes there. Amazing! Maybe “wherethehellis” Matt has actually been to all of those places.

  11. If one goes to his site, it takes awhile to get through “About Matt”, and even longer for the FAQs. At the bottom of which are the Less Frequently Asked Questions, at the tail end of which one finds:

    >This is all a big hoax, isn’t it? You did it all with a green screen. You never left your house. It’s true, isn’t it?>

    >I knew it!
