If I ever needed to use a table saw on a regular basis, I’d get a Sawstop myself. On the rare occasion that I do use a table saw, I run it with fear and trepidation, hesitating and thinking at any move of either hand. Michael’s digit chop, and my Dad’s near thumb chop have been a real warning to me. Now, of course, ladders and racquetball courts have been added to my fear list.
I have to agree about “risky environments” if it refers to ladders. But what about racquetball courts? I’ve spent infinitely more time on the court in recent years,
and 1/infinity = 0 right?
Risky environments for rakkity: racquetball courts, ladders, mountains, rivers, maybe hot tubs in Japan and behind the wheel of a certain truck owned in ought early seventy something.
Risky environments for Michael: Anywhere not in bed.
Something tells me that if Michael had one of these, he would eschew the hot dog in favor of a real-life test.
Whatever gave you that idea, pg?

Recounting a Central St. conversation of not too many moons ago.
Diane: Rakkity injures himself as often as you do.
Me: More often.
Diane: Not more often, that’s impossible.
Me: What, are we going to argue who is more injury prone?
Diane: Is it too painful to agree with me?
Me: Look at it this way. Given the time we both spend in risky environments, his ratio is way higher than mine.

Granted but how about this equation.
Risky environments for rakkity: racquetball courts, ladders, mountains, rivers, maybe hot tubs in Japan and behind the wheel of a certain truck owned in ought early seventy something.
Risky environments for Michael: Anywhere not in bed.
You’ve never been injured in bed?
To hear him tell it, he nightly narrowly escapes homicide. But that’s the less delicate inference …
I love how this conversation parallels the “happy anniversary” conversation.
I never tried to kill him in bed.
Where have you tried to kill him?
Remember those nights when I’d regularly punch you in the face? Aren’t you glad they’ve stopped?
