Some wonderful shots of people caught in the moment. They look oh-so-natural, as we have come to expect from Michael. Nubmer 48 is classic Matthew. Number 52 is one of the few exceptions where my Dad actually seems to be aware of the photographer. Michael, had you just said something outrageous before taking that shot? What produced that look on his face?
It’s good to see the return of the blogger’s own work, rather that the mere passing along of other peoples’ videos.
I stood in the doorway until your dad turned to face me, and with that cannon of a camera (Brian’s Nikon 200) covering most of my face, he might have thought he was posing for Francesco Scavullo.
I, too, think they’re good photos, and though it is my reputation, this time I can’t take all or even most of the credit. Matt grabbed the camera first and then BirdBrain came a lookin’ for it, and then I followed their lead. In my ideal world that’s the way the picture taking task at a party would always work. Not unlike posting posting a blog and expecting to sit back, feet up, fingers clasped behind my head and enjoying other people’s productions.

Very nice gallery. I took not a single picture at ours. Couldn’t even find the camera.
