Behind The Wheel
1151 miles/18.5 hours with one stop in Worthington, Ohio for Graeter’s ice cream (740 miles/12 hours). I fumbled with my credit car to pay for the eleven pints (No, not all for us) and my cell phone rings. It’s Diane.

And more to come after I’ve time to settle in. Or, are you wondering when your pint of vanilla arrives?

Your truck was out front this morning–I didn’t check the freezer. Welcome to Evansville.

No doubt she called to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day. Glad you’re there safe.

Falling asleep while listening to old time radio shows. You need some new, on-tape Connelley thrillers. Wonder how Fossett did it flying around the world solo. Before the flight, he said he was going to catch 5-min catnaps, which might work on a plane, but not in a truck.
