Perfect entry title, lovely feel, masterful exposure. Too tight a crop, though, IMHO — a tad more book & chairarm would’ve drawn one a bit more into the room she inhabits.
Ever notice how a slightly off pronunciation of the French for “a friend” sounds a little like the polar opposite in English……….?
There wasn’t much more to the room than that ray of sunlight. It led to the cave below wherein the wine fermented in ancient casks,
one of those magical European adventures.
Michael said of the shirt I was wearing, “You look like you live in Dayton,” because we were so far off the ancient axis, not to mention the trendy beautiful Riviera axis.
