And on and on including Lincoln Sudbury which means Chris’s chillens are also home. Matt’s response when I woke him at 6. “Thank god.”

Pepperidge Farm………? At least that appears to be a bottle of Sam or Harpoon beside them in the foreground — and here I thought poker was all manly sandwiches, beer, chips, cigars……..

We are still waiting for our first (of the season) one inch snow. This is an all time record for no snow this late in the season. The snowmobilers are whining, but the driving is great.

What? They’re closing schools in Massachusetts! Why, I remember back in my day in ought’78 when we skiied to school–right down Beacon St in Somerville, as a matter of fact.

So far, here in Maryland, we seem to have had our winter in the first week of December–a dusting of snow, cool weather (20’s for a week) then 50-60-70 degree temperatures.
I watered some newly-planted grass in our back yard the day before new years eve. That brought the rains, which haven’t stopped since. Looks like spring right now in beautiful downtown Bowie.
