  1. Nice touch, photographing the logbook. Most would never make the pilgrimage to see it in the flesh, and it’s a little thing with big heart. An entry is a small act of bestowing the place with the spirit of its visitors, and it extends the experience for the writer/visitor — a piece of you lives there still. Until the meeces finally eat the logbook, that is………..

    That downed tree looks like only skilled daredevils could have rescued the cabin………

  2. A pilgrimage it is, and soon those scrolls will be digitally immortalized. The meeces attempts to raise the cabin’s entropy to infinity will be foiled. Next time I’m up there, I’ll shoot the rest of the book, and the words of the pilgrims to Grok Hill will go on line for the delectation of lurkers everywhere.
