Great pitching picture! How did you do that? When I first looked at it, I said, “Hmmm, 3 pitchers warming up side-by-side? Wait a minute, there are 2 number 14’s.” Then I looked at the blowup and saw they were all the same pitcher. Last night my kids & I were trying to get shots like that of us on the racquetball court. We weren’t successful, but we’ll get some later. Just curious–where is the field, and who was playing?

All unintentional. I snapped a dozen or so, and when I got home there were three pics that could have been of the same batter, same pitch, but werenÃt. You see my digital camera will fire off at about a frame a day, and not a one of those shots will be in real time. Think of a 386 writing to a slow hard drive. And, as you can see, some time elapsed between those shots, otherwise those two boys to the left of the telephone pole in the first frame to the right, would have still been there in the middle frame. But you can attribute the quality of the illusion to the consistency of ChrisÃs motion. And, I love the foot drag. When he gets his knee on the mound, weÃll call him young Tom Seaver.
Chris has a similar, professional quality photo like this one hanging in his hall, which is where I got the idea.
Acton Boxborough was playing Concord Carlise at home.

Wish I could have stayed longer, Goose. Your mom tells me it was a blow out and you got the game ball.
