The tops of the tall pines and Mark’s posture convey the height of this
granite bluff, but what you can’t see is my impulse to give him a little push.

Mark’s posture may actually visually demonstrate an awareness of the impulse to which you refer. I wouldn’t be casually standing on two feet with hands in pockets with you behind me either…….
Somehow I feel obligated to make some kind of a response. I can’t figure out if I have the sick sense of humor that you feed on or vice versa. Since we seem to have frightened off most of our friends, I guess I’ll just let it rest.
