Chuck Close
These photos were taken yesterday at La Provence in Concord. I might have been influenced by an interview I listened to on Friday on Fresh Air with Chuck Close, the guy known for painting extreme close-ups of faces.

A fine, free-wheeling, prandial afternoon, rich in conversation and camaraderie. Followed 3-1/2 hours later with 5 more hours of much the same at an impromptu birthday party for Diane....... What a fabulous day of friends, food and deep conversation!!!
