How come I don't have a wife who looks at me that way? And where
do you get one? Amazon.com? Ebay?

Diane and Greg
“Robby, it’s Mike, where are you?”
“In English class, with Matt. Hey Matt it’s your dad.”
“Do you want to climb Monadnock tomorrow? if school is canceled.”
“Ahhh, maybe.”
“Well, think about it.”
I didn’t want to push the point or talk too long. Not after I realized that the voice in the background was his English teacher’s.
But all of that is moot. No snow. Not one flake. In defense of our meteorologists, this is the first really blown forecast in a while.
You called him during English class!!! With Matthew there too. Wow. I called my daughter once and the teacher took her phone away. She was not happy. As for the meteorologists, they are not paid to blow forecasts. I can do that.
Rantmaster was an absolutely adorable baby. Bonnie looks like Mary H. And Diane would fit right in with todays hip-hop community!
Posted by wheresthesnow.Too bad about the snow failure to materialize. I was looking forward to an "Into the 'Nock", or "Touching the Monad", telling tall tales of close calls with avalanches, frost-bite, abominable snowmen, and so forth, but a happy ending, of course.
Boy, those teachers at Matt's school are slacking off. If I were teaching there, before class all cell phones would be hung like 6-shooters on the front wall. Back in my day, teachers had eyes in the backs of their heads, and didn't let us get away with nothin', especially cell phones.
Posted by rakkity. To the first picture's caption -- maybe 'cause you don't dress well enough...... And why don't you have any garb like that, and where do you get some? Oh...... Ebay, most likely......
I didn't know Dan had a brother named Dan! I know one Dan now, and I don't see how the toothpick pictured here could bear more than partial genetic code with my Dan.
Posted by clotheshorse. If you will notice, HE is also looking at HER that way.
Posted by Not on ebay wife.GOOD POINT!!!
You following this Mikey?
Posted by snakebit.I see the Kings smile as a benevolent one, and hers as obsequious - what can I do for you today master? Which is not quite how that relationship works. I wonder what changed?
And toothpick is so true, but there were many slender yoots in those days. Ginger weighted 118 lbs, just about the same as Dan.
Finally, a belated correction to the cell phone commentary. The students had broken up into work groups, and were not seated single file, in rapt attention.
Btw, Matt scolded me for calling Robby in class.
Posted by Mike.Heh Clotheshorse, you are tromping on sacred ground! That beautiful, if dippy, aluminum foil and construction paper crown and the macrame (accent acute)d Order of the Magi neckware were the raiments of the Christmas King made for him by his youngest sister-in-law about a hundred years ago.
